Spotz (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates mobile applications: mobile applications:
- Spotz (User App): for customers to book services such as taxis, food delivery, hotels, casinos, car rentals, and more.
- Spotz Business (Vendor App): for businesses to register, manage their services, and access marketing and subscription tools.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use either app.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email, phone number, password, business details (for vendors).
- Payment Information:
- For users, payments made for services (e.g., taxis, food delivery, hotels) are processed securely through third-party payment providers. We do not store card or banking details.
- For vendors, subscription payments for Silver, Gold, or Platinum plans are processed via Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Usage Data: How you use the apps (services booked, features accessed).
- Device Information: Device type, OS, and app version.
- Location Data: With your consent, the User App may collect location data to enable services such as taxis, deliveries, or nearby offers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our services in both apps.
- Manage vendor subscriptions (Spotz Business).
- Process user payments for services (Spotz User).
- Deliver personalized recommendations, offers, and marketing.
- Communicate with you about updates, features, and support.
- Ensure security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Subscriptions (Spotz Business App Only)
- The Vendor App offers three monthly subscription plans: Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
- All subscriptions are automatically renewed monthly unless canceled.
- Vendors can cancel anytime through their App Store account settings before the renewal date.
- Cancellation stops future charges but does not provide refunds for already-paid periods.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only:
- With service providers (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers).
- If required by law or government authorities.
- To protect our rights, safety, or other users.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- We keep data as long as your account is active.
- Both apps include a Delete Account option.
- When deleted, your account and personal information are permanently removed, except where retention is legally required (e.g., invoices, tax records).
6. Security
- We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children's & Minors' Privacy
- The Spotz and Spotz Business apps are rated 13+.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not use our apps.
- If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the apps only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, if required by the laws in your country.
- We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children's use of mobile apps and services.
- If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
8. International Data
- Since Spotz operates in multiple regions (including Cyprus, Turkey, and Europe), data may be stored or processed outside your country. We comply with applicable laws, including GDPR, where relevant.
9. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Updates will be posted in the apps, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
